At last you lost the extra weight that kept you in trouble! Now begins a struggle to keep your weight where you want. Here's how to do it!

Keep the healthy habits

The fact that you lost the weight does not mean that from now on you are able to do what you want. You must continue to exercise. There are very few people who can lose weight and keep it, without increasing their activity level. Choose foods with little fat and eat 5 small meals throughout the day. The reduction of dietary fat is an effective means to reduce calories.

Measure your weight frequently

Use your weight scale often and record what you eat on a regular basis. Self-monitoring is important because it allows to early warnings if there are changes in your weight, giving you the opportunity to get immediate action.

Find support

According to surveys, it seems that frequent contact with a healthcare provider (doctor, dietician) or even a support group could be of assistance. Indeed, those who lose the most weight are those who make more frequent visits. The form of support you need may depend on your personality. Some people perform better on their own, others need family and friends.
