The negative calorie diet is based on the properties of most of the vegetables, ie very few calories and an abundance of fiber. These features facilitate the digestion process, and thus the function of the intestine, helping to process and eliminate food quickly and efficiently by the body. The concept of a food with negative calories is non-existent, but consuming a particular food may be accelerating the combustion process by the body.

Each food requires a certain energy to digest, but some of them have the capacity to consume more energy. For example, the diet claims that eating two carrots (16 calories) or a celery stick (5 calories) will burn about 90 calories.

Examples of vegetables

Asparagus

Broccoli

Cabbage

Cauliflower

Celery

Zucchini

Diet Plan

There is no specific plan for negative calorie diet, since a diet which is based exclusively on vegetables will cause an imbalance in the body due to its low caloric intake. It has not yet scientifically confirmed that a food creates negative calorie burning, but a diet that is rich in vegetables, it can certainly help in weight loss and bring the desired results.
