Even in the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 two shooters, who won a gold medal for the U.S., admitted that worked with hypnotist sessions. In 1984, Time magazine reported that Mary Lou Retton has used hypnosis in preparation for the Olympics to LA to block pain in the foot so to win the gold medal. The 1983 Chicago White Sox hired as a permanent associate clinical hypnotist. In 1967, dentist, Dr. Raymond Abrezol, used hypnosis to the members of the Swiss ski team so to win gold medals.
